Hannah Soroka is trading the ski slopes of Canada for the industrial property market in Auckland.
Having recently finished a seven-month working holiday abroad at a ski resort, Soroka has returned to the Colliers Highbrook team as an Industrial Sales & Leasing Broker.
Her journey in the property industry began with Colliers as a Property & Facilities Coordinator in the Occupier Services team in Wellington in 2022, while she completed her Bachelor of Commerce at Victoria University where she majored in Marketing and Tourism Management.
She later worked as a Property & Facilities Manager in Auckland CBD before spending 18 months as a Team Assistant in the award-winning Highbrook office where she assisted brokers with their marketing campaigns and developed a strong understanding of property transactions.

Soroka has family ties to the property sector as her father Scott worked in brokerage in Auckland for over 20 years, while her cousin James Valentine is a commercial broker for Colliers Queenstown.
Soroka will focus on the busy Wiri and Manukau industrial precincts in her new role and will work alongside seasoned brokers Mitch Broderson, Edward Washer, and Tom Peterson.
"Having the opportunity to learn from so many experienced people in the Highbrook office made it an appealing place to begin my brokerage career," Soroka says.
"Before I went away on my OE I spoke with a range of different people from Colliers around what would be the best fit for me and I am excited to be part of the Highbrook team."
The Colliers Highbrook office specialises in the sales and leasing of industrial property across Auckland.
Led by National Director of Industrial, Greg Goldfinch, the team has multiple brokers that have been with Colliers for over 20 years who have an impressive track record of brokering significant transactions.
Goldfinch says he looks forward to watching Soroka carve her own path in brokerage.
"Industrial brokerage is in Hannah's DNA and her father Scott was incredibly successful during his time in the industry so it s exciting to be able to welcome Hannah into our team. We look forward to supporting her development as her career takes shape," Goldfinch says.
"Hannah is incredibly mature with wisdom beyond her years and is extremely motivated to succeed, which will put her in a great position to thrive as she develops more experience."
