A substantial portfolio of six early childhood care properties located in five different cities spread across New Zealand has been placed on the market for sale.
The six buildings and the land they sit on are located in Tauranga, Hamilton, Rotorua, New Plymouth and Blenheim.
Five operate under the nationally recognised BestStart brand, while the remaining centre operates as an independent early childhood education site trading as Kids Academy.
Potential buyers are being given the opportunity to buy one or more properties in any combination the prefer, or the entire portfolio as one offering.

The portfolio of land and buildings is being offered for sale through Bayleys.
Josh Smith of Bayleys Waikato is leading the campaign, with marketing handled locally by Myles Addington in Tauranga, Mark Slade in Rotorua, Iain Taylor in New Plymouth, and Wade Cornelius in Blenheim.
Campaign sales leader Josh Smith says early childhood education is a cornerstone for the overwhelming majority of Kiwi parents seeking to give their children the best possible start in life.
Ministry of Education statistics show that some 96.8 percent of New Zealand children engaged in early childhood education (ECE) in the six months prior to starting school – including centre-based teacher-led venues, Māori and/or Pasifika centres, parent and whanau-led centres, and home-based education programmes.
“Dedicated to making a positive difference to the lives of Kiwi children during their formative years, early childhood centres such as BestStart and Kids Academy provide a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for children to learn in,” Smith says.
“Underpinning this commitment is the dynamic of operating in modern, efficient, and often purpose-built premises designed and laid out specifically with children and teachers in mind.”
Founded in 1996, the BestStart early childhood education brand is a New Zealand-owned organisation with preschools, kindergartens and Montessori teaching options at more than 260 sites across the country, stretching from Whangārei to Invercargill, practicing an ethos of ‘learning through play’.
BestStart is the premier partner of child healthcare provider Whānau Awhina Plunket – having raised more than $390,000 for the charity organisation.
