The couple listed the 4.3ha lifestyle block on Island Road, in Clarkville, Waimakariri, at the end of last year after earlier announcing their plans shift to the North Island to be closer to family.
Harcourts listing agent Kathryn Picton-Warlow announced the sale on her social page, writing that the property had sold for “more than $1.21m above its RV” after “strong nationwide interest and multiple offers”.
OneRoof records show the property has an RV of $2.54m.

The Daggs bought the block in 2019 for $450,000 and built an impressive five-bedroom, three-bathroom home with a solar-heated pool.
Daisy, who has a diploma in interior design, told Essence Magazine in 2022 that she worked with Gisborne architect Shane Kingsbeer and Keane Builders, of Amberley, to create the couple’s dream home. The resulting work won gold for craftsmanship at the House of the Year Awards.
Picton-Warlow told OneRoof that she received multiple offers for the house from a range of buyers, including upsizers and downsizers, but it ultimately sold to a Christchurch couple looking for their first lifestyle property.

They had made an unsuccessful cash and unconditional offer prior to Christmas, before making a higher offer over the holidays.
“They just needed a bit of time just to think and digest over the Christmas period and then decided they really can’t live without it,” Picton-Warlow said. “They just want space and scope.”
Clarkville is a popular lifestyle location less than 20 minutes from Christchurch Airport and Christchurch CBD. “The convenience factor is huge for a lot of families,” she said.

She said the Daggs had done “a lovely job” presenting the property.
“There was a point of difference to it. It wasn’t just a stock standard sort of home. It was a beautifully built property, it was well received by the valuers and the people who did the building reports.”
Israel posted on social media at the end of 2024 that they were planning a move to Tauranga to be closer to family.
He had noted that they were looking for a lifestyle section near Papamoa or Mount Maunganui so the couple could “still hold on to that rural dream”.
The listing added: “Motivated by a move north to be closer to family, the vendors now pass forward a property that has become both a triumph of design and a benchmark for lifestyle”.
