Colliers, as sole agents, are pleased to present this substantial industrial property for sale, offering a rare opportunity to secure a large landholding with extensive warehouses, office, and workshop facilities in one of Christchurch's most sought-after industrial locations.
Occupying two freehold titles with a combined land area of approximately 1.8596 hectares, the property comprises conventional steel portal frame warehouses, office areas, and supporting staff amenities. All improvements are located on one title, with the site currently providing a low overall site coverage of approximately 29%, presenting considerable scope for future development, expansion, or repositioning.
The property is owned by the Southern Institute of Technology (SIT), which no longer requires the asset for its educational operations. This creates an exceptional opportunity for investors, owner occupiers, or developers to add value and unlock the site's full potential. Whether retained as a long term investment, repositioned for higher return uses, or occupied by a business seeking a strategic industrial location, the property offers a wide range of future possibilities. Positioned within one of Christchurch's fastest growing and continually evolving industrial precincts, the property benefits from excellent accessibility and proximity to key commercial amenities. Hornby's popular commercial and retail hub is located approximately 1.5 km away and includes major destinations such as The Hub Hornby, Dress Smart, and Mitre 10 MEGA.
This is a genuine opportunity to secure a significant industrial landholding in a tightly held location with substantial upside.
Contact the sole agents today for further information or to arrange an on-site inspection.
