“I wouldn’t say that I’m athletic – or even very sporty, but I do enjoy tennis so that was definitely something that impressed me straight away – along with the heated swimming pool,” says owner Chris who bought the generous 523sqm home on its enormous 1563sqm section with wife Klara in 2015.
He’s enjoyed many games himself over the past 10 years or so and says that his eldest daughter, in particular, is developing her tennis skills very nicely.

“It means we haven’t had to do much at all, although we did add a sauna outside and we changed the kitchen island so that you can sit at, where before there were cupboards on both sides,” says Chris.

“But, to be honest, it suited us to be downstairs with the children while they were small, so the master bedroom was a table tennis room before Klara and I actually moved into there to sleep about a year ago.”
Also, downstairs, is the convenient separate laundry and an impressive wine cellar, along with plenty of designated storage space. Another big plus is yet another giant living room, opening to a covered patio.
Chris found working from home easy and stress-free during the 2020 lockdown, thanks to the sunny studio-office at the top of the house, while Klara took on schoolteacher duties below.
“There was plenty of space for everybody to do their own thing without getting in each other’s way and, of course, we had the pool and tennis court too, plus lots of outside areas for relaxing.”
