The vendor's executive home at 23 East Stream Lane, in Clearwater, Northwood, is heading to auction with a declared reserve of $2.3m - well below its RV of $2.7m.
The vendor has been trying to sell since early 2024, with Bayleys agent Adam Heazlewood taking over the listing in March this year.

Heazlewood told OneRoof that his client had left Christchurch some time ago and was ready to cut ties with the house.
“The vendor is based in Auckland and resides there now and simply doesn’t want to hold on to it, so we’ve done a declared deserve to prove the degree of motivation.”
A move from Christchurch to Auckland is a swim against the tide, with many Auckland buyers viewing Christchurch as an affordable and vibrant place to live. Since 2020, 46,000 people have moved to Canterbury.

23 East Stream Lane overlooks the fairways of Clearwater Golf Club, at Clearwater Resort. Heazlewood said being able to buy an exceptional residence occupying one of Clearwater’s most coveted positions for $2.3m was “remarkable value for money”.
“It’s seriously for sale. A buyer has the chance to show up and be the only bidder and own it for that number.”
While homes that sold for set reserves (often $1) sometimes had problems, Heazlewood said there was absolutely nothing wrong with the Hamptons-inspired home he is selling.
The home, which has a separate self-contained studio, a large master suite and good flow out to the 2151sqm landscaped grounds, would suit both families and downsizers, he said.
