Established dairy, coastal location

Positioned in a coastal setting, this 95.1566 hectare (more or less) dairy farm presents an opportunity to enter the dairy sector, scale back from a larger operation or invest in a property with established infrastructure and management options.

Across six titles, the farm comprises easy to rolling country, with soil types including predominantly Redhill loam across the coastal side, Pinaki Sand along the western boundary and Tangitiki Sandy Loam through the eastern portion.

The farm is currently tracking towards approximately 75,000kgMS for the 2026/27 season, based on actual production recorded from June to September 2026 and forecast production for the remainder of the season, from a 95-hectare milking platform milking 225 cows twice daily.

The property is serviced by the Mahuta water scheme and features a 41ASHB cowshed, feed pad, large calf shed, hay barn and three silos. Supporting infrastructure includes a four-bay implement shed with lockable workshop. An underpass provides access to approximately one-third of the farm, supporting stock movement and day-to-day management.

A three-bedroom, one-bathroom home provides accommodation for an owner or manager, allowing flexibility around how the property is operated.

Following a period of gradual farm downsizing, the vendors are now offering the entire holding as one dairy unit, having previously presented the property in individual parcels. Operated under absentee ownership with a farm manager residing on-site, the farm provides flexibility for an incoming owner to continue the existing management structure or implement their own preferred operating system. Whether seeking a hands-on farming role, a once-a-day milking system, or an investment with established management in place, the property offers a range of options.

For those looking to enter dairy farming, the scale and existing infrastructure provide a practical starting point. There is also scope to consider calf rearing or a more hands-on farming approach. Equally, the property's established infrastructure and current management structure may appeal to investors, absentee owners, or retiring farmers seeking continued involvement in the industry without the demands of daily operations.

Offering a combination of established dairy infrastructure, manageable scale and alternative operating options, this coastal farm is well worth considering.
