Individually substantial and collectively exceptional, these high-profile holdings place 6,519sqm of prime city-fringe land in the development spotlight, with the zoning and scope for a landmark addition to Fendalton.
Available separately or as a pair, the first site occupies a commanding 3,192sqm corner position at Deans Avenue and Matai Street East, securing outstanding street exposure and an iconic outlook across Hagley Park.
The neighbouring 3,327sqm site extends to the corner of Darvel Street, offering equally appealing scale and its own prominent street frontage.
The development potential has already been tested, with council having previously approved resource consent for a 52-unit townhouse and apartment complex, providing a substantial point of reference for purchasers considering the sites' future.
Few locations offer such a direct connection to Christchurch's defining attractions, with Hagley Park at the doorstep, Mona Vale nearby and the commercial and recreational advantages of Merivale, Riccarton and the central city all within close reach.
The schooling credentials are difficult to rival, with Christchurch Girls' High School directly opposite and zoning for Elmwood Primary, Heaton Intermediate, Christchurch Boys' High School and Burnside High School adding considerable appeal to any future residential address.
With its considerable land area, coveted corners and prestigious parkside position, this is a monumental opportunity to influence the next generation of the local landscape.
