$50,000 per annum + GST and outgoings
Located in the heart of central Methven, this substantial 553sqm (more or less) commercial space offers flexibility, scale and the opportunity to create something truly different for the town.
Currently configured into two large open rooms, the layout provides options for multiple businesses or a larger operation wanting the space to itself. One main area has roller door access directly to the carpark and outdoor area, while the second can be accessed via double doors from the reception area or from the adjoining large room.
The property also includes a welcoming reception and waiting area, kitchenette, two additional offices or treatment rooms, two sets of showers and toilets, plus a separate accessible bathroom. There is plenty of space here to adapt the existing configuration or start again and create something tailored to your business.
Previously utilised as a gym, the property could lend itself to a similar use, but the possibilities extend well beyond that. With Methven continuing to grow as a tourism and lifestyle destination, alongside a strong agricultural community and increasing numbers of visitors enjoying day trips and holidays in the area, there is an opportunity for a business that adds something new to the town.
Perhaps a wet-weather destination for visitors, locals and children. A fitness or recreation-based venture. A hospitality concept with indoor and outdoor enjoyment. A brewery or social space. Or something completely different.
The existing infrastructure, generous floor area and central location provide a strong starting point, with the flexibility to accommodate one larger business, multiple uses or a concept that brings something new to Methven.
The space is here. The opportunity is yours.
Multiple uses are possible, subject to the necessary council consents. If you have the vision, this central Methven property is ready to become something of its own.
