Deadline sale (unless sold prior) 12pm, Fri 16 Oct 2026
An opportunity to acquire an established landscape supplies business with an existing customer base, supplier relationships and a recognised presence across Methven and Mid Canterbury.
Methven Landscape Supplies currently operates from 10 Line Road, Methven, alongside the established contracting business, providing bulk landscape materials to residential, landscaping and commercial customers throughout the region.
The business supplies a comprehensive range of products including forest floor bark mulch, compost, topsoil, compost/topsoil blends, aggregates, lime chip, crusher dust, builders mix, drainage chip, AP20, sand and soak-hole boulders, with additional products able to be sourced to meet customer requirements.
With the ability to supply anything from a small trailer load through to truck quantities, the business caters for both residential landscaping projects and larger commercial requirements. A key feature of this business is its straightforward, one-person operation, providing an appealing opportunity for an owner-operator without the need for a large workforce.
Currently operating alongside another established business from the same premises, Methven Landscape Supplies has the flexibility to be continued in its current format or further developed by a new owner.
Business and property opportunity
The land and buildings at 10 Line Road are also available for purchase, providing the opportunity to secure both the established landscape supplies business and the underlying commercial property.
The purchase price is plus GST (if any). Prospective purchasers are advised to seek independent legal, accounting and tax advice in relation to the purchase, including the GST treatment and any implications specific to their circumstances.
