• Prominent corner position
• Flexible tenancies from approximately 70sqm to 273sqm
• Redevelopment of the historic former Harewood Fire Station
• Excellent onsite customer parking
536 Wairakei Road offers a rare opportunity to become part of the transformation of one of Burnside’s most recognisable sites.
Formerly home to the Harewood Fire Station, the property is being thoughtfully redeveloped to create a contemporary retail and hospitality destination while retaining the character and identity of the existing building.
Occupying a prominent corner site at the intersection of Wairakei Road and Roydvale Avenue, the property enjoys exceptional profile and exposure to one of Burnside’s busiest intersections. The location is well connected to established residential catchments, major employment areas and Christchurch Airport, providing a strong customer base throughout the surrounding area.
A range of flexible tenancy options is being created, offering approximately 70sqm to 273sqm and providing scope for a variety of retail, food, hospitality and service-based operators.
The development will combine the character of the original fire station with a modern, considered redevelopment, creating a distinctive setting that will stand apart from conventional suburban retail offerings. With onsite parking and excellent street presence, the property is well suited to businesses looking for visibility and accessibility in an established commercial location.
With construction now underway, this is an opportunity to secure your place within an exciting new addition to the Burnside commercial landscape.
