A rare opportunity to purchase a well respected and solid business in the heart of Ashburton.
Walk through the doors of The Somerset Grocer and you quickly realise this is not simply another café. Alongside the café and bar sits a specialty deli filled with carefully selected products from New Zealand and around the world. Seasonal pickles, preserves, condiments, spices and gourmet ingredients sit alongside products that invite customers to try something different.
Perhaps it is an exotic spice that transforms tonight's dinner. A beautifully made preserve discovered while browsing. A special ingredient that turns an ordinary meal into something memorable. That sense of discovery is part of what makes The Somerset Grocer special.
You never quite know what delicious temptation you'll find on the shelves to create into one of The Somerset Grocers iconic gift hampers that we have come to know and love!
After years of success Mark and Nicky feel the time is right to allow new owners to take The Somerset Grocer into the future. For the right person, couple or another family, this represents the opportunity to step into an established business with a loyal following, a recognisable name and a wonderful platform from which to build!
The next owner won't simply be buying a cafe. They will be taking over ten years of goodwill, reputation, relationships and history and a business with plenty of potential still waiting to be unlocked.
If this business looks like you then call Kim today to write your story, the next chapter could very well belong to YOU!
