A rare opportunity to acquire the name, brand and business of one of Auckland's longest-established organic and health food retailers. Trading in Takapuna since 1994, IE Produce has built more than 30 years of history, a loyal customer following and a recognised position in Auckland's organic and health food sector.
A key milestone came in 2000, when IE Produce became New Zealand's first Bio-Gro Certified Organic health food store - a point of difference that still underpins the business's identity today.
The sale includes the established IE Produce name, allowing the new owner to build on a trusted brand rather than starting from scratch. The business offers a wide range of organic and specialty products, including fresh produce, functional and whole foods, gluten-free and wheat-free ranges, health products and everyday grocery lines.
There's genuine scope to grow the business further through e-commerce and delivery, modern digital marketing, loyalty programmes, merchandising and purchasing, while leveraging existing supplier relationships and customer base. New lease terms can be negotiated (subject to landlord agreement), and vendors will provide post-settlement support to ensure a smooth transition.
