Time-lapse footage shows the creation of the largest new residential block in Auckland's waterfront Wynyard Quarter.
Willis Bond developed Wynyard Central, the 113-unit block at 30 Madden St built by L T McGuinness and designed by Architectus. Two tower cranes are shown on the job beside the Mason Bros. building, new home to architects Warren and Mahoney.
The block was completed in June, Willis Bond said and 164 new residences will be finished in the area this year.
"Residents have now moved in to Willis Bond & Co's Wynyard Central apartment block," a spokesperson said. "To coincide with this, we have a time-lapse video of the development being built."

The Wynyard Quarter is reclaimed land on the Waitematā Harbour at the western edge of the Auckland waterfront, to the north of Freemans Bay and to the west of the Viaduct Basin.
The busiest two years in the 20-year regeneration of the area are now in full swing with many live sites including the $300m Park Hyatt Auckland due to be finished next June on Halsey St.
Willis Bond is also now finishing the 51-unit apartment block at 132 Halsey St, across the road from the new hotel being developed by China's Fu Wah.
That business announced this week that it planned a $400m 435-unit apartment/retail block between Pakenham, Gaunt, Daldy and Beaumont streets.
Panuku Development Auckland, an Auckland Council-controlled organisation is in charge of the area.
