We have just released our latest Neilsen Readership results, where NZME publications continue to hit new hights, as record numbers of kiwis turn to our newspapers and digital content for trusted and in depth news, sport and entertainment content.

A few key highlights I’d like to quickly touch upon. On average, we now have around 650,000 kiwis read the New Zealand Herald on any given day of the week, which represents a 48% increase on a year ago. The Weekend Herald has increased it’s print readership to 791,000 readers every week, a 19 year high, which is a phenomenal result and something we are immensely proud of.

The readership growth continues across our regional newspapers, which combined reach over 300,000 readers every week.

Online, NZHerald.co celebrated it’s 10th consecutive month as NZ’s number one digital news website.
