- Former Warriors star Addin Fonua-Blake is prepared to let his Auckland home go for less than he paid.
- The NRL player is now back in Australia, playing with the Sharks, and needs to sell to buy a home in Sydney.
- The Flat Bush property, bought for $1.46m in 2022, has hosted several Warriors players and attracted the attention of fans.
Former Warriors star Addin Fonua-Blake is desperate to find a buyer for his Auckland home – and is willing to accept less than what he paid for the five-bedroom house three-and-a-half years ago.

The Australian NRL player, who quit the “Wahs” and New Zealand at the end of 2024 to join the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks, bought 26 Bellagio Way, in Flat Bush, with his wife Ana in 2022, paying $1.46 million, just below its current RV.
Fonua-Blake first listed the “Vegas-style” home at the end of 2024, but tough market conditions saw him drop the price from $1.475m to $1.395m before pulling it from sale in May 2025.
Ray White listing agent Logan Swann said Fonua-Blake had decided this month to give the market another go, in the hope of uncovering “some new buyers”.

Swann’s listing for the swish, concrete home makes no bones about Fonua-Blake’s intentions to meet the market. “Overseas Vendor Says Sell!” says the listing headline on OneRoof. “Selling below what the owner paid in 2022. Act now and enquire today!!” it adds.
Swann told OneRoof that the property was a standout home in Flat Bush. “It’s in a league of its own when you consider the type of properties that have been built in and around Flat Bush. This is quite different to anything else you’ll see through there. Solid concrete home, a hop, skip, and a jump to the Mission Heights school.
“It’s in a beautiful position, you’ve got the park across the road, and it’s on a corner site. It offers so much as well: five bedrooms, three bathrooms, four bathrooms, two living areas, a double garage, and off-street parking. So, bang for buck, yeah, really good value for money.”

He said Fonua-Blake had got a decent offer to play with the Sharks and was “thoroughly enjoying everything that Australia has to offer, but he just wants to get this property sold so he can move forward with purchasing a property of his own for his family in Sydney”.
“We had the property listed for a while [but] the market wasn’t there to support a sale at the level required, so we’ve decided to give it a rest. Hopefully, we can uncover some new buyers.
Fonua-Blake, he said, “will be entertaining offers well below that RV figure”.
OneRoof profiled the house when it first hit the market in 2024 and spoke to Fonua-Blake about it. He said he and Ana liked the architecture, the entertaining deck, and the fact that it was 400m from a primary school, meaning they could walk their kids to school.

“The houses looked a lot better when I went out to Flat Bush, and a lot of my friends and family said that Flat Bush is a good family area and nice and quiet,” he said.
“We’ve had a few dinners up on the roof terrace. It’s a good spot for barbecues when the sun’s out,” he said. Guests included his former teammates. “Not all of them at once, though. They might have fallen through the roof,” he joked.
Swann told OneRoof last week that after that “first article, we did have quite a few Warriors fans reach out”. Those who were actively in the market looking to buy a home, they definitely came through and because of the home ownership details with it being Addin’s property.
Swann, who played 195 times for the Warriors, often provides real estate services to the team’s players. He’s also helped a Hollywood A-lister buy a home in New Zealand, although he’s sworn to secrecy.
Back in 2024, he said: “I reach out to the [Warriors] from time to time, especially when there are new marquee players coming across. Nine times out of 10, I get players engaging and asking, ‘Could you help me out?’.”
