Originally from Te Anau, New Zealand, I’ve called Invercargill home for over 20 years. My passion for cycling spans more than 24 years, including 24 consecutive years racing in the prestigious Cycle Tour of Southland. Competing year after year has taught me invaluable lessons in discipline, endurance, and resilience—traits that I carry over into every aspect of my life. Cycling has not only shaped my personal journey but has also strengthened my connection to the Southland community. In addition to my athletic pursuits, my professional career at Resene Paints spanned over 21 years. Here, I’ve developed a deep technical understanding of colour theory, surface treatments, and quality paint products, which I apply to my work in interior design, DIY projects, and property enhancement. I specialize in creating spaces that are both aesthetically pleasing and practical, helping clients increase the value and functionality of their homes. My role as Store Manager and recently Trade Manager has also given me the opportunity to collaborate with both tradespeople and homeowners, guiding them on how to achieve the best results using Resene products and expert advice.
