Grant Unsworth established GBU Realty in October 2009 after working with another agency Investor Business Brokers Ltd for the past 6 years. During this time he has specialised in the retail sector and established a comprehensive network of relationships with tenants across the retail sector both at bulk retail level, high street and convenience retail. Grant is a director of a development property consultancy company Unsworth Properties Ltd which was established in 2001. His professional and tertiary qualifications include a professional associate membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, a Masters in Property Investment from the City University in London together with a Bachelors degree in property valuation and management from Lincoln University. Grant has worked within the property industry for 25 years and held previous fund management positions with Guardian Trust and AMP in New Zealand and Schroder Properties Ltd in the UK. Over the last 8 years, he has undertaken several bulk and location and feasibility studies for different clients which have assisted in developing and widening the retail experience for the agency.
