Are you looking for beachfront?

Some properties are special. This one is in a league of its own.

Imagine owning nearly 18 hectares of predominantly flat grazing land, with over 500 metres of beach frontage, just south of Castlepoint, and spectacular views towards the iconic Castle Rock.

Bordering Castlepoint Station, this is a property with a genuine sense of privacy and seclusion. A place where the landscape opens up, the ocean stretches towards the horizon, and you can enjoy the freedom of space, without feeling hemmed in by the world around you.

This is coastal freedom on an extraordinary scale.

Much of the hard work is already done. A 27m² tiny home provides the perfect base for weekends and holidays, complemented by a separate one-bedroom pod with its own toilet for family and guests. The impressive 112m² engineered garage, designed for the local climate and conditions, features a kitchenette and bathroom, with ample room for boats, vehicles, equipment and everything needed for an outdoor lifestyle.

Power, water and septic infrastructure are already in place, providing a valuable foundation for those looking to establish a permanent coastal residence, subject to the necessary consents and approvals. The current owners have had house plans drawn up which shows the possibility of a dwelling on the building site located well above the shoreline.

With four dams, four consented animal shelters and almost 4,000 plants established over the past eight years, the property offers genuine potential for sustainable living, grazing, food production and creating your own private coastal sanctuary.

Then there is the beach, right on your doorstep.

With hundreds of metres of secluded coastline to explore, fish and enjoy, the beach becomes part of everyday life. There are tracks down to the shore, one of which is suitable for 4wd, making spontaneous morning walks, afternoon swims and long days beside the water an effortless part of your own rhythm.

Watch the sun rise over the Pacific, with the first light spilling across the ocean. But don't think the spectacle ends when the sun disappears. As darkness falls, the open ocean and expansive coastal skies create a remarkable backdrop for stargazing that the Wairarapa is renowned for. Away from the distractions of everyday life, the night sky can become every bit as memorable as the sunrise, with stars stretching across the heavens above the sea.

Here, the days are shaped by the tides, the weather and whatever adventure takes your fancy. The evenings are yours to enjoy in peace, with the sound of the ocean and the extraordinary beauty of the natural surroundings.

Almost 18 hectares of opportunity. Hundreds of metres of beach. Castle Rock views. A secluded setting bordering Castlepoint Station.

Hold onto the dream of a simpler, more adventurous life, with the freedom to create something truly your own.
