554ha

Scale, balance and opportunity

Glenlogie Farms presents a significant opportunity to secure a substantial 554ha (more or less) sheep and beef farming operation, comprising two adjoining properties offered for sale as one complete farming unit.

At the heart of the property is the original 407ha (more or less) family farm, held by the current family for more than 60 years. The later addition of approximately 147ha (more or less) of neighbouring land has complemented the original holding, creating a larger-scale farming operation with a useful balance of breeding and productive finishing country.

Across the farm, the contour ranges from easier rolling and lower country through to medium and steeper hill. This variation provides versatility within the farming system, with the additional 147ha in particular adding a significant area of productive finishing country to support the wider operation.

The property is well established for sheep and beef farming, with fencing predominantly post and batten, complemented by electric fencing. Stock water is supplied through a combination of troughs and dams, while established farm infrastructure supports the practical day-to-day running of an operation of this scale.

Farm infrastructure is extensive and well suited to the operation, including two woolsheds – one complemented by covered yards – three implement sheds, two sets of cattle yards and sheep yards, a garage with sleepout, along with a range of supporting farm improvements.

Accommodation is another notable feature of Glenlogie Farms. Two four-bedroom homes are positioned on the original family farm, while the adjoining 147ha property provides a further three-bedroom home. The three dwellings offer flexibility for owners, family, farm staff or other accommodation requirements associated with the operation.

Adding another dimension are nine separate titles, providing purchasers with flexibility and potential for the future. Whether retained and farmed as one substantial holding or considered in the context of longer-term options, the multiple-title structure is a valuable feature of the property.

The scale of the land is readily apparent, with broad areas of open pasture, rolling hill country and established farming improvements creating a substantial and well-balanced holding. After more than six decades in the same family, Glenlogie Farms now presents an opportunity for a new owner to take the property into its next chapter.

Conveniently positioned within the Waikato and within driving distance of both Hamilton and Auckland, Glenlogie Farms combines 554ha (more or less), breeding and finishing country, three dwellings, extensive farm infrastructure and nine titles in one significant farming proposition.
