Kaibu Island is home to the Vatuvara Private Islands Resort in the Northern
Lau Group of Fiji. This 800 acre island resort is powered by solar energy and
follows organic standards.
The improvements include the three secluded and luxurious seaside villas
which have been meticulously crafted with natural textures and materials cre-
ating spacious and comfortably elegant environments offering extraordinary
views of neighboring islands beyond the azure waters of the lagoon.
The three villas range from 4,000 sq ft (Saku and Vatu) to 7,000 sq ft (De-
lana). Each with their own beach access, the villas include an infinity edge
heated pool surrounded by lush tropical landscaping and an abundance of
aromatic flowers. The villas have one bedroom, lounge, kitchenette, large
decks, indoor/outdoor showers, air conditioning, spa massage bure (Fijian
traditional house), private EV vehicles, satellite TV.Delana Villa is a larger villa with separate library and indoor massage room
with jacuzzi, full length heated pool and private beach gazebo and outdoor
facilities. Three additional executive two bedroom homes (Baka, Moli, Dilo),
air conditioned with in-house cooking facilities, are located above the resort
area. Nuku private villa available for additional guest rental only with group
booking. Hidden away there is a residence that houses 12 single bunk beds.
Valhalla main dining building with 4m deck overhanging 20 meters above the
sea, wine cellar, lounge area, sunken bar, private dining bure, fully air-conditi-
oned professional kitchen with freezer and cooler storage.
Jim’s Bar and Grill (JBG) is situated below Valhalla on the beach for breakfast
and lunch, open timber structure with sunken bar, lounge, table seating, com-
mercial kitchen, wood fired oven on patio, toilets. All water activities available
off the beach, SUP boards, kayaks, jet skis, Hobie cat, snorkeling, etc. This
area also has a grass amphitheater for cultural evenings and weddings.
Gymnasium facility has all state of the art equipment, shower facilities, full
length pool, large deck and BBQ area, boutique shop and bunker.
Supervisors’ three-bedroom home on the resort compound, adjacent to com-
mercial bakery and guest laundry.
Golf course, four holes and putting green, with guest Lounge Bure, and main-
tenance structure.
All weather concrete airstrip, 800meters x 18m with arrival meet and greet
Bure facility.
Marina jetty structures for guests boating, scuba, fishing and staff transfers.
Houdini 11.3m Niad speed boat, 13m cat passenger boat, four open skiffs for

Desalination plant supplies portable water for entire island, reverse osmosis
50 tons per day, two storage tanks 300,000 liters. Multiple catchment ponds
and rain collection tanks provide supplemental water.
