A true Whangārei landmark, this striking Art Deco property presents a rare opportunity to secure a high-profile freehold asset in one of the city's most established commercial locations.
Formerly home to the award-winning à Deco Restaurant, the property comprises approximately 278sqm across two levels, plus a 95sqm serviced annexe and carport, positioned on a prominent 1,012sqm freehold site with approximately 50 metres of frontage to Kamo Road.
Behind its grand façade lies a versatile floorplan featuring expansive open-plan areas, multiple access points, generous amenities, and an abundance of natural light throughout. Whether your vision is a prestigious professional office headquarters, a hospitality venture, or a live work arrangement, the flexibility on offer is exceptional. Any change of use will be subject to the necessary council approvals and consents.
Adding to its appeal, the property offers substantial onsite parking with nine off street carparks (four covered and five uncovered), a rarity for such a prominent character asset. Positioned directly opposite the Kensington commercial hub and surrounded by medical, retail and hospitality amenities, it combines accessibility, profile and convenience in equal measure.
