Looking for an independent, community-focused business where you can make a genuine difference in people's lives?
Established in 2023, Freedom Companion Driving provides personalised transport, assistance and companionship to people needing more than a standard taxi service. From medical appointments and shopping trips to social outings and wheelchair-accessible transport, this business helps customers maintain their independence and stay connected with their community.
Operating across two franchise territories covering Napier/Taradale and Hastings/Havelock North, the business benefits from a loyal customer base, valuable referral relationships and the backing of a nationally recognised franchise network.
Business Highlights:
* Three vehicles included, one wheelchair-accessible
* ACC Registered vendor and approved Total Mobility provider
* Experienced drivers and strong referral relationships
* Home-based operation with flexible working arrangements
* National franchise training, marketing and operational support
* Two territories offering significant scope for future growth
There is plenty of room for a motivated owner to grow the business by increasing vehicle utilisation, developing local marketing and expanding the fleet to meet customer demand across both territories.
This opportunity would suit a caring motivated owner-operator who enjoys working with people and wants to combine business ownership with a meaningful community-focused role. The current owner works approximately 40 hours per week, supported by an experienced driver and additional cover.
The owner has built the business up from ground level and he is now ready to move on to another project, creating an opportunity for someone new to take the wheel.
