Irrigated Coastal Opportunity

We are pleased to present to the market 'Parkdale', an impressive 322-hectare coastal, partially irrigated property, located at Motunau in the Hurunui District. Predominantly flat to easy rolling in contour, the property benefits from a favourable microclimate. The farm has a strong history as a cropping, dairy support and finishing unit. It is well suited to a range of farming options making it an outstanding rural investment opportunity.

Irrigation water is sourced from a surface take off the Motunau River with two main pivots, one Zimmatic and one Valley covering approximately 70 hectares. Additionally, two Zimmatic moveable pivots cover approximately 22 hectares and sprinklers cover approximately 12 hectares. The property has a Land Use Consent allowing a maximum area of irrigation of 108.1 hectares and a maximum area of winter grazing of 70.2 hectares.

Farm buildings and improvements are extensive and include a three-bay shed, five bay hayshed, cattle yards, a concrete block fertiliser bunker, silos, and various other utility buildings. The property features an extensively renovated four-bedroom homestead, thoughtfully positioned in an established setting.

Significant investment has been made in fencing infrastructure being divided into approximately 57 paddocks with layout designed for ease of stock movement.

This is a fantastic opportunity to acquire a versatile property, partially irrigated and capable of supporting a variety of rural undertakings. The attractive homestead, combined with extensive infrastructure, makes this costal property a highly appealing choice. This outstanding property should not be overlooked!
