Quintal Farm I Four titles | 55 hectares

Farm, lifestyle or both. Acquire all four titles or offer individually.

After almost 30 years of family ownership, 137 acres of coastal countryside in proven Matakana, is on the market offering scale, extensive opportunities and access to the region’s most beautiful holiday destinations.

Quintal Farm has more than 2km’s of coastal frontage fringing the calm waters of the Whangateau Harbour that lead out to Omaha Bay, and the tranquil shores of Point Wells, Ti Point and Omaha Beach. Located 70 kilometres north of the Auckland Harbour Bridge, and boasting a natural landscape, mixed contours and unspoilt views across four freehold titles, it has been a family farm for the vendors, whose descendants in the area date back to the 1860’s.

Titles:

•47.6ha | ‘The Farm’ balance block with sheds, long water boundary, further subdivision potential.

•1.3ha | ‘The Farmhouse’ a very tidy 3-bedroom home, with lawn, tennis court and pond.

•1.0ha | ‘The Lifestyler’ bare land, at the entrance to the farm, building platform identified.

•5.4ha | ‘The Bush Block’ with stands of mature trees, opportunity for further subdivision.

Being well elevated, and clear of flood waters and inundation, there are numerous additional building platforms on offer. The land has traditionally been farmed with cattle with stock finished on the property. Fencing is 7 wire, water is supplied by bore and the infrastructure includes a 4-bay, 210sqm steel shed and workshop, implement shed, cattle yards, dam, and well-fenced raceways for on-farm efficiency. Mature trees, stunning bush pockets and water views characterise the broader environment. The spacious three bedroom homestead enjoys established lawns, cottage gardens, shed, pond and tennis court, providing ample accommodation for owners and a wonderfully private oasis to enjoy as is.

All four titles are zoned Rural Coastal Zone. A second dwelling can be added to the farm title (as a Discretionary Activity), Minor Dwellings of 65m² excluding garages and decks are possible on all four sites. Visitor Accommodation is a Discretionary Activity for this zone and Workers’ Accommodation is a possible Restricted Discretionary Activity on the 5.4ha site.

Quintal Farm promises lifestyle and recreational benefits and is a unique investment opportunity for forward-thinking buyers, and astute investors seeking to leverage the compelling locational advantages. Geographically, the area is also known as ‘Big Omaha’, and is a short drive from Matheson Bay, Goat Island and Omaha Beach and only 5km’s from Matakana Village and farmers markets.

The region includes a thriving community and business hub with excellent local schools, sporting facilities and recreational options on land and sea, positioning Quintal Farm well for a growing family or business owner.

Purchasers are invited to offer on the entire farm, or individual titles, with the offer deadline closing 4pm Thursday 19 November, unless sold prior. Contact agent for viewing appointment.
