Your Island Escape Awaits

Discover the opportunity to secure your own piece of paradise in beautiful Swansea Bay on Kawau Island. Lots 4 and 5 including two waterfront homes and your own private wharf are to be sold as a single entity or separately, dependent upon your requirements. A unique opportunity for a family retreat or a group of friends looking to combine resources.

Lot 5 offers a charming open plan board and batten home perched above a 40 meter private wharf with floating pontoon, offering commanding views out over Bon Accord harbour. Surrounded by a large wrap around deck, the spacious open plan kitchen, dining and living areas seamlessly flow outdoors, making this a great home for entertaining family and friends. With polished wooden floors and generous sized windows that just soak up the sea views and a wood burning fire for those winter nights, Lot 5 oozes charm and personality. The overall layout has been very well thought through, with all the living spaces and the two main bedrooms enjoying majestic sea views, while a third bedroom, toilet and bathroom are all connected by a central corridor. Outside there is no formal garden with the house surrounded by native bush, alive with Tui and Kereru, with plenty of storage space downstairs for all those items to enjoy the best that a beach front property such as this offers.

Lot 4 lies seemingly suspended above the beach at Swansea Bay, partially hidden by a stand of majestic Pohutakawa trees and connected to Lot 5 and the wharf by a myriad of interconnecting tracks through the bush. From the deck you feel as though you could be on a yacht moored in the bay, such is the unique location of this property. Inside there is a spacious open living, kitchen and dining area which connects to the deck and those stunning sea views through large glass sliding doors. Upstairs there are two bedrooms and a bathroom while downstairs there is a sizeable bunk room for the young ones. The house is presented in excellent condition with ample storage and cupboard space to the rear, an outdoor patio and dining area and your own swimming beach out front.

Lots 4 and 5 offer an idyllic setting for a private island retreat with a total of five bedrooms and bunkroom, surrounded by the natural beauty and relaxed coastal atmosphere for which Kawau Island is renowned. Imagine escaping the bustle of everyday life to enjoy peaceful weekends, summer holidays and time spent close to the water.

Whether you envision a secluded holiday hideaway or a long-term island sanctuary, this property presents a rare opportunity to create something truly special for a large family or group of friends. So make Swansea Bay the beginning of your Kawau Island story. Both homes are fully furnished and come with a comprehensive list of chattels, so all you need do is unpack your bags and relax.
