Tired of cramped townhouses with barely enough room to move? Then you need to visit this one! 14a Captain Scott Road in the heart of Glen Eden has an impressive 180sqm of floor space, giving you room to spread out, relax and make yourself at home.
Unlike many townhouses, this one has excellent soundproofing as well. Featuring three generous bedrooms, expansive open-plan living, and two outdoor decks upstairs AND a separate unit with its own entrance (60m² of the floor space) downstairs, this is a home that offers something increasingly hard to find: genuine space and flexibility.
SAVVY TENANTS COULD USE THE GROUND FLOOR TO:
* Take in a boarder, give the boarder the entire downstairs 'unit', keep the 3 bedroom home to themselves - and basically halve the rent.
* Run a small business from downstairs and put a third of rent and utility costs through the business.
* Provide a separate living space for an older parent or teen.
* Or just use it yourselves - it'd make an awesome studio, games room, or man/woman cave.
Situated in a vibrant community, it's close to a wide variety of amenities within walking distance - supermarket, takeaways, fruit & veggie store, liquor store, bakery, massage - and much more. Glen Eden is well-connected with public transport, and with Auckland's City Rail Link now open and the train station just moments away, commuting into the heart of the city is quicker and easier than ever. A short drive will see you find scenic walking trails, parks, and West Coast beaches.
This townhouse is one worth viewing. The outside is very deceiving - people are always surprised by it's size and condition.
