- Two coastal properties linked to Kerry Bradburn failed to sell at mortgagee auction.
- Both properties attracted no bids, despite interest in the unfinished Stanmore Bay development.
- Wild Poppies collapsed owing $1.3 million to creditors after Bradburn sold it to her son.
The multimillion-dollar coastal homes of Kerry Bradburn, the former owner of under-fire online florist Wild Poppies, failed to sell at mortgagee auction today.

The properties, a three-bedroom home on Tiri Road, in Auckland's Manly, and a half-finished build at 19A Duncansby Road, in Stanmore Bay, attracted zero bids.
Bradburn’s financial issues came to light earlier this year when Wild Poppies collapsed owing creditors more than $1.3 million.
Bradburn herself came under fire after selling the company to her son the day before the liquidators stepped in. However, she told OneRoof last month that the collapse of Wild Poppies had “nothing to do” with the mortgagee sale of Tiri Road.

At Ray White's auction, two parties showed interest in the “coastal project” on Duncansby Road, but despite much cajoling from auctioneer John Bowring, no one put their hand up.
Bowring said the half-finished property had “so much potential, so much upside”, and suggested buyers get things started with an opening bid of $900,000.
“Get your nose in front here. I would certainly like to negotiate with someone if I can.”
No one took Bowring up on his offer and the property passed in.

He said there were plenty of unconditional buyers waiting on the sidelines and he expected it would go into a large multi-offer situation straight after the auction closed.
He tried to drum up enthusiasm for Bradburn’s cliffside home at 63 Tiri Road, saying it was “move-in ready” and an “absolute treat, and an absolute delight”.
But seeing as there were no registered bidders, the property passed in.
Bowring said the three-bedroom home could also end up in a multi-offer situation, and urged interested buyers to arrange a viewing.

63 Tiri Road has been on and off the market since 2021, and initially had a price tag of $3.25m.
Bradburn told OneRoof last month that the property had suffered a slip during Cyclone Gabrielle in 2023, and even though the cliff had been fully remediated, finding a buyer had been difficult.
“People are very cagey about clifftop properties even though it’s fixed.”
She said two unconditional deals for the property, including one for $2.5m, had fallen over. “That’s at the core of my problem,” she said.
If she had been able to sell 63 Tiri Road, she would have had the funds to finish the Duncansby Road build and avoid the mortgagee sales, she said, adding that all three properties were tied to the same lender.
She explained the unfinished Duncansby Road house had already cost her $1.7m in construction costs, plus $850,000 for the land.
63 Tiri Road and 19A Duncansby Road are being sold by Ray White agents Cherry Killgour and Marama Curness, and have a combined RV of $3.85m.
A third property owned by Bradburn fetched $565,000 at a mortgagee auction last month, well below the $745,000 Bradburn paid in 2020.
Wild Poppies is still operating as a business because it was sold to Weyland Group the same day the liquidators stepped in.
The New Zealand Herald reported that the creditors were angry about the turn of events because Weyland was set up by Bradburn’s son, Cole Bradburn, the week before the sale.
