I have been born and bred in New Plymouth and have lived in the same house since 1960. When I got married my mother moved out and my wife, Karen, moved in. We have raised two sons – both now live and work in Wellington,

I came from a family involved in the timber business, where I worked for quite a number of years, and I have also worked at McKechnie Metals extruding copper tube.
I also ran a property and maintenance business for a number of years.

After buying my first rental property in 1996, I have continued slowly building up my property portfolio. I joined the Taranaki Property Investors Association of which I am still a member today. I have been in Real Estate for a number of years now as a Property Manager, run the Rental Division at Harcourts New Plymouth.
My interests include managing and improving my properties, gardening and walking my Bichon Frise dog.
