Rimpy Sidhu has been a licensed real estate salesperson with Harcourts Papatoetoe since mid-2019. Her area of focus for clients wanting to sell and buy homes is all across the South Auckland region and within her home neighbourhood where she is a well-known figure on the cultural dance scene. Rimpy was born and raised in India. Always a hard-worker with a grit and determination that has never left her, as a teenager Rimpy became an accomplished gold medallist dancer and while studying at university, a sought-after and highly-skilled dance coach. She has studied dress and fashion design and in 2002 was runner up to Miss World Punjaban. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History, Political Science and Art, Rimpy and her family moved to New Zealand in 2006. Rimpy was raising two children, working part-time in retail and heavily involved in cultural events in South Auckland when from 2013 to 2019 she owned and ran a family home furniture manufacturing business. Rimpy oversaw product design, managed staff, and was responsible for ordering raw material and day-to-day office management. Rimpy then turned her attention to real estate – a natural progression with her vast network of contacts. As a people-person with a great deal of empathy, Rimpy is valued by all for her listening skills and capacity to gently guide people through the often stressful, home ownership journey. With an open mind and excellent understanding of the market, Rimpy’s calm confidence is sought time and again by vendors and buyers alike. She numbers investors and developers among her clients and her clear values and good business relationships are the key to her success. In her spare time Rimpy devotes her attention to family, cultural activities and is a passionate cook who loves reading – especially inspirational authors.
