For me, life is about sharing, doing things for people and lifting their spirits, so joining the team at Barfoot & Thompson Whangaparaoa is the perfect launch pad for my real estate career. Also, my mum, Elmarie Steenberg, has been in the industry for 23 years so I plan to learn a lot from her! With a working background in building and construction, I’m well prepared to cast a critical eye over properties, and assess their suitability for my clients. I’ve lived on the Coast for about five years now, in Orewa and Millwater and I just love it. It’s close to everything, there are plenty of flat areas for bike riding and games for the kids and the community is full of friendly people. I enjoy life with my partner, Rosie and our boy Eli. I love basketball, cricket and rugby and I’m proud to say I won a Sports Leadership Award in 2019, Captain of the Year. As well as English I speak Afrikaans.
