Although my formative years were spent in the Waikato and Manawatu, my Wife’s family roots are in the beautiful Hawke's Bay so returning to New Zealand after 3 decades working in Europe and Asia, ultimately as an executive officer for a Highly successful, multi-billion-dollar global company, making Havelock North our home felt just perfect. Additionally, it is no difficult task to persuade our 3 adult children to spend time with their Mum and Dad in the Bay when-ever they can.

Even though we know we have been fortunate to have experienced much of what the world has to offer, in our view, in terms of overall life balance, there is no equal to this exquisite corner of the earth we call home.

We thoroughly enjoy this community with its combination of small rural town values with an openness borne from a genuine appreciation and curiosity of what the world has to offer. The Bay is such a great place for foodies and when I am not trying to make one of my many guitars replicate the amazing tones of Eric Clapton, I am creating culinary delights from the first-class ingredients we have available on our doorstep. So there is always plenty of interesting and challenging things to do.

I count myself privileged that my career not only exposed me to working with wonderful people from all over the world, but in order for me to have achieved success at the highest level, I developed the critical skills that were required. In my leadership role I was also able to instil and promote the essential values into the organisation, necessary for it to be able to sustain its industry leadership position and be respected by all of its stakeholders.

Buying and selling a property, is often the biggest and one of the most important decisions we make during our adult lives, and I believe my key work attributes developed over time make me a great partner to those looking to buy and sell property successfully. Not only do I understand the importance of hard work, fact based decision making and accurate and timely communication, the underlying principles that are part of my fabric, integrity and fairness are essential for trust to be possible.
