Mike’s experience in Real Estate far exceeds your typical garden-variety real estate salesperson, spanning nearly two decades, mike started out as a licensed real estate salesperson in July 2000 with LJ Hooker Richmond. In Mikes first 12 months of Real Estate, he was recognized by LJ hooker international as a finalist in the international best new talent awards. Since then Mike has been headhunted several times by other real estate companies such as Summit, where he consistently performed in the top 5% in the Summit team. Next In his first month as principal of Ray White Mapua, Mike sold more property than the company had sold in the previous 12 months. As a result, Ray White Mapua grew to be one of the most successful franchise offices of its size in the Ray White network across NZMike sold Ray White to pursue his passion for property development. He secured 1.6hectares of residential land in Mapua and over the following two years, undertook and completed a significant development creating 10 residential sites and setting the balance of the land up for a second stage development of 5 lots. Mike undertook much of the consent and project management process as well as effectively marketing and selling the sites. Mike retained a handful of the sections and subsequently built 3 new spec homes on the sites. He has since begun work creating a new residential subdivision on a second property in the heart of MapuaMike (and his wife Sarah) purchased Green Door, a locally born and bred boutique real estate company in 2014. From 2014 until the present day Mike has been extremely active, personally selling 40+ homes a year as a salesperson, plus his active role in supporting and managing the dynamic Green Door sales team. Mikes business focus has been on improving the overall look, feel and client experience of Green Door as well as continuing with his property development passion. Mike loves Motorcross, and when he can’t be out on the track he enjoys spending quality time with Sarah and their kids.
