Based in Invercargill with a background in operations management and business consulting, Michael understands first-hand what it takes to build, grow, and eventually exit a business. Before joining LINK, Michael worked closely with business owners to improve profitability, strengthen systems, and sharpen strategic decision-making. This experience has given him a deep appreciation for the personal commitment, risk, and resilience involved in business ownership, an understanding that shapes the thoughtful and diligent way he approaches every sale. Known for his analytical mindset and highly organised approach, Michael places strong emphasis on clear communication, sound preparation, and practical outcomes. His focus is not only on helping owners exit with clarity and confidence, but on presenting well-prepared, credible opportunities that buyers can trust and engage with. Michael specialises in working with businesses across the manufacturing and engineering, sectors. By combining industry knowledge with a strong focus on strategy and preparation, he is able to position businesses in a way that builds buyer confidence and creates competitive tension. He often works with owners well before they are ready to sell, helping them understand what drives value and how to prepare effectively for a future exit. Outside of work, Michael enjoys Olympic weightlifting, playing tennis and spending time with his wife and young son. If you’re considering selling your business now or in the future and are looking for a practical, straightforward approach, Michael welcomes a confidential, no-pressure conversation.
