Marissa's career path prepared her perfectly for a successful role in property management. Travelling to New Zealand in 2017, she furthered her studies and gained a Level 7 Diploma in Business Management which developed a comprehensive perspective and critical understanding of strategic and societal aspects of businesses and their interrelationships. Her professional experiences include an excellent background in customer service, she has worked as a Customer Service Analyst for the Telecommunications and Finance industries for many years and she understands the importance of teamwork and having exceptional communication skills with team members, clients and business partners. 

Before joining the property management team, she was working as a debt collector for a power company which advanced her skills in negotiation to resolve disputes and complaints that is both beneficial for the company and the customer. This also means that there is zero-tolerance for late rent payments.       

Marissa was trained by Ray White Property Management Head Office when she joined in 2019 and continuously attends weekly training sessions and workshops to make sure that she is up to date with the ever-changing laws and regulations of the Tenancies Act. 

What Marissa loves the most working with Ray White Northside Property Management is the support system that she gets from the team members, which is very important in this industry. Her team makes sure to check on everyone - business related or personal stuff. 

Beyond work, Marissa enjoys a lot of outdoor activities like skiing, hiking, boxing and swimming to stay fit. She also loves exploring New Zealand and staying on beachfront baches to get a slice of a genuine Kiwiana lifestyle.
