Even in her early working life, Leonie sought direct interaction with the public - it’s what she loves best. Her first retail job in an upmarket department store spanned an impressive 13-years, after which she hit the road for the first time, selling advertising, and then print. Each experience built valuable skills in efficiency, customer relations, negotiation, and sales. 

In 1998, Leonie tried her hand selling real estate, and it proved to be the career of a lifetime. Carving out a name synonymous with professionalism, superior customer care and a refusal to compromise on the truth, Leonie's astute advice and friendly, transparent approach facilitated countless successful outcomes for buyers and vendors throughout the greater Auckland area. Her previous company granted her membership in the ‘50 Million Dollar Club’ - an impressive recognition of her total sales.

It’s quite clear that Leonie’s abilities are stand-alone, but after ten years, she decided to join forces with her husband and fellow top-performing real estate salesperson, Greig Kirby. The couple make a formidable team with some remarkable results; around 75% of their combined business comes directly from past clients or word-of-mouth referrals - compelling evidence of past success.

Leonie is passionate about supporting her community. Spending five years as a collector for the Blind Foundations Guide Dogs, she remains a sponsor to this day, ever gratified by the generosity of the public. Between them, Leonie and Grieg have two grown children, and seven grandchildren, who have always taken precedence in Leonie's private time. Now almost all grown, she can indulge her favourite pastimes; gardening and socialising with friends.
