Living rurally on the outskirts of Rangiora, Lana and her husband Macka, like to “muck around” on their lifestyle block trying to train their rescue dog “Colin” to be a cattle dog, but it must be said, not very successfully. They also like to take the odd weekend away to visit our fantastic Canterbury region in their camper and enjoy a day’s ride out on their classic-styled motorcycles. Formally trained as an Interior Décor Consultant and with a sales history in flooring and soft furnishings, Lana has an extensive knowledge of interior fitouts and presentation. Added to that she and her husband have renovated a number of properties over the years and their portfolio has also included the buying and selling of new-build investment opportunities. That’s some experience for you to take advantage of! Lana has a longstanding relationship with the New Zealand Defence Force and was a serving naval officer for twenty-four years. The highlights of her military career include two tours overseas representing New Zealand in peacekeeping duties both regionally and under the auspices of the United Nations in the Middle East. Actively involved as one of the younger members of the Veterans section of the Rangiora RSA, Lana and her Army retired hubby enjoy supporting our local and wider military family in events and commemorations. Evident of her military background, Lana is not only efficient but her attention to detail and strong focus on honesty, commitment, and integrity, have ensured she has made her mark within the real estate industry. Over the past decade these skills and attributes have resulted in her being awarded national recognition as a high performing salesperson with a reputation as an ‘honest broker’.
