Ken has been a North Shore resident since moving his family from Dunedin to Milford in 1987 to assist in the establishment of Auckland's outstanding radio stations, NewstalkZB. Most of his working life has been spent in journalism and advertising and marketing. But he has always had an interest in domestic architecture and, along with Gail, has bought and restored a number of interesting homes. He is particularly knowledgeable on the construction of colonial houses. He’s one of the original trustees involved the rescue and restoration of Takapuna's iconic Lake House Arts Centre. As a team, Gail & Ken Pianta are a well-known and highly respected real estate duo with Ken particularly noted for his highly professional and successful video presentations.
