The Davis family lives in Ngatea, near the area where Karl grew up on a dairy farm. Prior to finding his niche in country real estate Karl gained a Bachelor of Leisure Studies degree with the focus on marketing and computer science, and worked for Microsoft as an engineer, sales manager and trainer. Karl supports schools and sports clubs in his regions and his self-run annual Charity Golf Tournament has raised over $219,000 for The Bayleys Foundation, New Zealand Guide Dog Services, Make a Wish Foundation and local non-profit organisations.
