Hi, I’m Jarred. I’ve been living and breathing real estate since late 2012, but truth be told, it’s been the family business for as long as I can remember. I got my start with a rigorous two-year apprenticeship under Vicky Ashton before launching out on my own in 2014. Since then, I’ve helped hundreds of locals buy and sell across all price points—from entry-level sections and first homes to premium, seven-figure properties. For me, real estate isn't about chasing commissions; it’s about collaboration. Because I was born and bred right here, I know our neighborhoods inside and out. My goal is always to provide straightforward, expert advice, fair fees, and a marketing strategy that actually delivers—a formula that has consistently secured multiple local sales records over the years. Outside of Real Estate When I’m not negotiating contracts, I’m usually making the most of our incredible local environment. Surfing is a lifelong passion of mine—I’ve been fortunate enough to win 7 National Surfing titles and over 50 local events. The same focus, discipline, and determination it takes to win out in the water is exactly what I bring to the table when selling your home. I’m also deeply proud to give back to the community that raised me, serving on the committee of the New Plymouth Surfriders’ Club for over 12 years to help foster junior surfing. When I’m off the waves, you’ll likely find me getting amongst nature on my mountain bike or winding down working in the garden.
