Living in the area for over two decades, he focuses on Devonport, Narrow Neck, Stanley Bay, Bayswater, and Belmont. Ian is a highly respected member of the community and his local connections are deep rooted and comprehensive. Over the years he has been President of Devonport Rotary, board member of North Shore United Football Club, Chair of the Board of St Leo’s Primary School and board member of Devonport Peninsula Trust. He is a current board member of the Devonport Business Association, Organiser of ‘Business on Toast’, joint co-ordinator of summer Kids Athletics in Devonport and a member of the Holy Trinity Hall fundraising committee.

In his spare time Ian enjoys going to the gym, golf and cycling. He has previously won the Auckland Bike Challenge and has cycled from Land’s End to John o’Groats in the UK.
