Aside from his uninspiringly humdrum resume encompassing paragliding, rafting, jet-boat driving, guiding diving charters in Fiordland, river boarding, heli-ski guiding and film work (he was once Robert De Niro’s stunt double!) Ged’s a family man, with wife Nadia and two small children ensconced in a self-described ‘shed that grew’ in the mountains of Queenstown. Alongside his entrepreneurial ventures, Ged’s always been a keen property investor, having built, managed and owned a plethora of commercial and residential property. A University study of property valuation helped with Ged’s decision to turn his investment interests into a career by joining the exciting world of real estate – ‘I’m passionate about Queenstown and really enjoy property – a pretty good marriage hey?’.
