Gavin has called Queenstown home for 20 years now, originally from the UK he made his way to NZ in search of snow and adventure. Like many who get inspired by Queenstown he has never left. Having developed a love of the outdoors, Gavin has a passion for hiking and has completed many of the New Zealand great walks and multi day hiking trails. Gavin met his partner Misako through their shared love of hiking, culminating in trekking trips to the Himalayas with the highlight being a trek to Everest Base Camp. They are looking forward to showing their daughter, Lily, what this beautiful country has to offer. Gavin has an extensive background in hospitality and tourism, and has worked in both hotels and ski resorts in the UK, Europe and Australia before settling in New Zealand. After working as the general manager at Azur Lodge in Queenstown for 14 years Gavin is looking forward to thriving in a new industry and his property manager role with Harcourts.
