Daryn learned to ride his bike on the same Wanaka roads that today hum with the energy of one of New Zealand's fastest-growing towns. A familiar and friendly face in the community since childhood, his connection to the region runs deep.

Daryn began his real estate career in Wanaka in 1995 before family took him in a new direction — into a successful sales and sales management career spanning nearly three decades. Through all those years, Wanaka never stopped being home; it remained the centre of fun, family and memory-making, and in 2024 he returned to the town and the industry he loves.
