Danny Lim is Cambodian Chinese. Danny is multi-lingual and speaks Chinese, Cambodian, Vietnamese and English. Danny was born in a small village in Cambodia into a small warm family. In 1989 the whole family immigrated to Vietnam and lived there until 1995 before moving back to Cambodia. The family chose to settle down in Phnom Penh City and Danny joined a free English class at the Chinese Temple Association. Danny learnt three different languages whilst living in Cambodia - Khmer, Chinese and Vietnamese and became a volunteer translator. In December 2000 Danny moved to New Zealand. After settling here in New Zealand Danny married her Cambodian husband and not long after this they started a bakery business and a laundromat. Her favourite thing to do is spend time with her family and her four children. Danny enjoys meeting people and found it was a natural progression for her to become a real estate salesperson.
