Dallas Green, known locally as Dallas, was born in coastal Taranaki and grew up at the foot of the mountain on Kahui Road. I attended Newall Road School, Okato College, and later boarded at New Plymouth Boys’ High School.
After leaving school, I worked on — and eventually became part-owner of — my father’s 2,200-acre dry stock farm. I then spent 17 years in the chicken farming industry before moving into sales. Following that purchased an engineering business in Auckland, which we later relocated to Matamata, and eventually brought back home to Taranaki.
At 65, as the physical demands of manual work began to take their toll, I then transitioned into real estate. My broad and varied life experience allows me to genuinely relate to both vendors and purchasers, understanding their needs from a practical, real-world perspective.
I pride myself on keeping things simple and stress-free. Creating a comfortable, easy experience for people is at the heart of everything I do.
