About Charles Cadwallader

Educated at Malvern College in England, I spent the summer holiday of 1976 working on a North Sea Oil Rig. Wildlife and conservation were always my first love so, from school, I worked first as a Ranger at the Royal Windsor Safari Park before moving on in 1980 to study Zoology and Biochemistry at the University of London whilst attending to my interest in animals by working full time as a keeper at London Zoo, Regents Park; I rapidly learnt that zoo-keeping was unlikely to provide sufficient funds to travel and have a family(!) and in 1986 I underwent a career change and joined London’s Metropolitan Police. I worked as a detective for 20 years, primarily in offences involving children and then, fulfilling a promise to my wife (20 years is quite enough!), I left the police when I was offered an appointment as Investigations Manager of MAF New Zealand (now the MPI), structuring a team to administer the Animal Welfare Act 1999. My work there complete, I achieved the role of Curator at Auckland Zoo and, when the ‘Super City’ restructured, I was appointed National Chief Inspector of the RNZSPCA. Throughout my career I have worked hard and developed exceptional people and communication skills that have translated very well into the real estate industry.
To achieve all these successes has required determination, commitment and a dedication to the task at hand. In high pressure roles I adapted to think on my feet, often working “outside the square’, sometimes in high octane situations, in order to solve problems. It is my life experience that is my point of difference. I possess a real drive to succeed, and go the extra 100 miles to achieve the best possible outcome for my clients; and I do not stop until that goal is reached. I also excel in helping people through highly stressful periods in their lives and I genuinely care for my clients and take great satisfaction from seeing them happy. I work tirelessly, leaving no stone unturned, to ensure that this is so. ‘Failure’ is not a word in my dictionary.

I really do enjoy working in real estate and I commit 100% to the task at hand. I am available at all times - I have a number you can call free from your landline to my mobile, 7 days a week: 09 473 8620. I always return calls, always respond to my client’s needs and always ensure that my clients understand every step of the processes involved in the buying and selling of property. I provide a service that is ‘Nulli secundus’ - second to none. My priority is quality of service and achievement, not simply the quantity of houses sold. I do not aspire to be “Number One” in that respect - I wish only to be recognised for excellence in terms of service and the price I achieve for my clients.
