A long term Property Press addict, Carol has had an avid interest in the housing market for as long as she can remember (and she has a very good memory!!). Over the years she has been dogged by an inner conviction that her skills, personality and energy were not being correctly channelled nor harnessed to their full potential. Her career fit seemed like that of an oval peg in a round hole – a close match but not quite right. In recent years her mind has turned more and more to real estate, with each thought fuelling a growing desire to follow her passion. Nelson Mandela once said “There is no passion to be found playing small - in settling for a life that is less than the one you are capable of living”. This struck a chord. With her children safely at university Carol has followed the advice of this wise man, given in to the call of her passion and immersed herself in a career in real estate. Looking back the transition was seamless. Her experience in the homewares and the design industry naturally synergises with the role, and enables her to bring another dimension to the service that she provides. Carol is “wired” for this career. Those who know her will talk about her easy going nature, her empathy for people and her sense of humour.
