NZR is a real estate company established by Blair Stevens, Peter and Nicola Barnett and Jamie Proude. Having worked within corporate real estate companies for many years, all felt that they could offer their clients a better service if they set up their own business.

The Wairarapa and Tararua is a diverse provincial region with a wide range of farming land-uses including its well-known wine industry which supports a busy tourism industry. Well connected via transport links, the region has become a haven for weekend and permanent residents. Masterton is the main service town region, along with bustling country towns of Greytown, Carterton, Martinborough/Featherston, Dannevirke, Pahiatua and Eketahuna.
