The Good Guys Real Estate is proudly local, independently owned and built around a simple philosophy – great real estate comes down to experience, hard work and genuinely looking after people. James Symes and Lyndon McLay are both North Otago locals with deep roots in the community and a wealth of experience behind them. Lyndon has successfully sold real estate in the region for 36 years, building an exceptional knowledge of the local property market and a reputation based on experience and relationships. James brings 10 years of real estate experience, backed by 23 years in the building industry, including 13 years running his own successful building company. Building is a common thread between the two, with Lyndon also beginning his working life with a building apprenticeship in his family business. That practical property knowledge, combined with decades of real estate experience and an intimate understanding of the local market, gives their clients a valuable advantage when buying or selling. After many years in corporate real estate, James and Lyndon decided to do things differently and created The Good Guys Real Estate – a locally owned business giving them the freedom and flexibility to provide the level of service, marketing and value they believe their clients deserve. They remain actively involved in the community they call home and are passionate about Oamaru and the wider Waitaki District. With The Good Guys, you deal directly with experienced agents who know the area, know property and are committed to getting the best possible result. And with competitive, all-inclusive fees, great service doesn’t have to come at a premium. Talk to The Good Guys and find out just how much you could save when it’s time to sell.
